Young love...........at 13?

my best guy friend...and i secretly love him. he's going to high school, and i'm going to 8th. he hugs me, holds my hand, and tells me he loves me online and in person. [probably meant as a friend]. i'm pretty depressed that school is over, which basically means i wont see him as much, and he is going to high school. so i wont see him next year. he has told me three times that we will hang out over the summer, and i'm pretty much stoked for that, but don't know when this will happen. as i've said i love him..so don't say that im too young. love shouldn't have limits. so, what do you think i should do about this? should i ask him straight-forward to hang out? my plan to hang out with him over the summer is for him to go to his friends house who lives near my best girl friend's house while i go to hers and then we can hang out from there. good plan? maybe? yes? no? tell me what you think. thanks!
