How do you cope with putting your dreams on hold?

Very few people get to live out their dreams. My entire life I've wanted the very same as you, but after kids came, other responsibilities and then life's little twists and turns, I've kept those dreams as just that. Now my parents are old, and I want to stay nearby them. Economics keep us here. On the plus side, our home is paid for. There are birds, squirrels and raccoons in the trees in our yard, and we used to grow vegetables. I try to bring the country to the city as much as I can. I don't dwell on what isn't, but make the best of what is!
