Is it true that over 4000 gays have been executed in Iran since Khomeini's advent in 1979?

It probably is. It is illegal to be gay in Iran punishable by stoning, decapitation or hanging. The current government have even resorted to giving loans to gay men to have change operations in order to not show their gayness! The gay men usually do not want this operation but if it a choice between that and death.................. It is very sad really.
