Why do i feel like i have boyfriend cabin fever?

for the past couple of weeks, well, pretty much since my 15th birthday, i have just been, well, i'm not sure how to put this without sounding crude, but horny. i have like, REALLY been feeling the urge to make out with someone, snuggle, ETC. i haven't had my first kiss yet, and i haven't had a boyfriend in almost 3 years, but i haven't really felt the need to have one. until now, i was perfectly happy being single, never really even getting crushes on guys. but all of the sudden, BAM! could this be from like, repressed ual energy or something, lol? i don't understand why this is happening! or could this be a super long spike in my hormones maybe? idk, i guess that is kind of the point of my asking this question in the first place, haha.
