Guinea pig poops a lot!!?

She's 7 months old and she poops a TON!! I think i am giving her too much Timothy Hay. I read on a website that babies don't poop as much as adults do. But believe me, i use a dust pan to spot clean her cage and the whole thing was filled. The thing is, i cleaned her cage last night!!!!!! I used to just spread hay around the whole cage, now i don't because when she poops and pees it gets in the hay then she eats it ): So i now just out newspaper down, a towel, then a blanket(fleece) I have it in a bowl and she eats it like there's no tomorrow. Like i said i cleaned her cage last night and all of the hay is almost gone and when i put it in the whole cage i had to fill it back up again!. But is it the hay that makes her poop so much? Should i cut down on it?
