Does it surprise you that republicans are willing to vote for Sarah Palin?

When people are willing to watch TV shows that are contrived "reality" fictions week after week, or invest themselves emotionally in which American Idol contestant gets voted out this week, no, it doesn't surprise me. When they can't even name the vice-president or list the three branches of government I'm not surprised that they vote for someone who quit her office half way through her term. When people are willing to obsess on Lindsay Lohan or Charlie Sheen for weeks, I'm not surprised that some people will vote for her just because she's photogenic and hates the President as much as they do.
